Ultra will be testing its new Electron client, an open-source framework for building cross-platform desktop applications, in the coming weeks. The migration to Electron will enhance productivity for the development team and provide a more streamlined experience for users. The Electron client will enable cross-platform compatibility and allow Ultra to transition to a more application-based experience. The client will no longer have tabs and external links will open in the default browser. Updates for Ultra will be seamlessly downloaded while the client is in use. The closed beta phase for the Electron client will begin on September 25th, and participants will have a chance to win UOS and Uniqs.
